outdoor arts camp

August 26-30

Ages 8-12 | $185

In this outdoor multi-art camp, children will use nature as inspiration as they follow their curiosities and imaginations to find and create art outdoors. Every day we will learn about a different Art stream (music, visual arts, drama, and dance) and explore the forest to see where or how these Art forms come alive. This camp is perfect for children with big imaginations, who are highly creative, and who have a love for outdoor adventure.

This camp is part of a Master’s Thesis research project aimed to explore how nature inspires children to be creative. Consent forms for participation will be provided, however, participation is not mandatory to attend the camp. Campers will wear body-worn Go Pros and/or take pictures with tablets as they document where they see Art in nature and how this inspires them to create more Art. They will also engage in reflective discussions about their experiences with the lead researcher/camp educator. For more information on the research project, please contact Education Coordinator Mike at
