Ages 5-7 Camps
Puppetry & Mask Camp
July 13-17
Join us for a week long deep dive in puppet and mask creation, learning techniques to bring their creations to life and playing lots of games along the way! This camp culminates with a final showcase for friends and family, where campers take their creations home!

Fantasies & Fairy Tales Camp

Step into worlds of enchantment where campers will explore magical storytelling through drama, movement, and play! Through interactive games, classic stories, and plenty of fun, campers will share their own fantastical tale as the camp concludes!

Flex your funny bone this July, where campers will learn the fundamentals of improvisation, using them to make bold choices, develop hilarious characters, and collaborate to make creative scenes on the spot!

Calling all adventurers! Venture out into the world of heroes, dragons, and monsters as our professional DM guides campers through an epic campaign, filled with encounters, crafts, and fun!

Our 2-week Shaw Camp returns! This year we’ll take a trip to see The Wind in the Willows, have workshops with professional Shaw actors, and as always, conclude the camp with an amazing performance!

FAQs
Where do the camps take place?
Carousel Players’ camps take place at our Arts Education Centre in Silver Spire Church (366 St. Paul Street, St. Catharines). For drop off and pick up, we ask that you park behind the church on Head St accessible through Bond Street.
Is there early drop off and late pickup?
Yes, early drop-off takes place between 8:30-9am and late pick-up takes places between 4-4:30pm.
Do I need to provide a lunch and snacks for my child?
Yes, parents and Guardians are responsible for bringing food for their child. We will have two snack breaks and one lunch break. We will also have a fridge available if needed. Please note that this is a peanut free facility.
What should my child bring to camp?
Please ensure that your child has these items each day: water bottle with name and/or initials on it, lunch, hat, and sunscreen (we will be going outside, weather permitting).
What is your cancellation and refunds policy?
If Carousel Players cancels a program before it begins, registration fees will be fully refunded. If parents/guardians choose to withdraw their child from a program before it begins, registration fees will be refunded less a small administrative fee ($25). If a camper is required to not attend the program for Covid-19 reasons (they are exhibiting symptoms, another person was exhibiting symptoms, they were asked to leave), registration fees for the remainder of the program period will be refunded.
