Welcome to Carousel players young company!
Join us for an exciting 12-week after-school acting program designed for young people ages 11-14, where kids are involved in the process of putting on a show! CPYC offers a weekly exploration of theatre arts, culminating in a final production that will showcase the talent and creativity of our young actors.

5-8pm at Carousel Players

Core Principles of CPYC
Our goal with the Carousel Players Young Company is to offer young people a fun and well-rounded experience of putting on a play. From script reading and analysis to staging and dress rehearsals, participants will experience the full journey of bringing a play to life on stage!
Four core principles that guide our CPYC experience:
- The process is just as important as the final product
- No auditions – All young people, if they want to, should have the opportunity to experience being in a staged performance, regardless of their prior experience
- Putting on a play should be a FUN experience
- We work with the resources we have available and aim to envision how even simple objects and be transformed into wonderous things on stage
